National Wildlife Action: Incumbents returning

CNN projects Sens. Menendez, Kennedy (um, duh), Snowe, and Nelson (FL) to keep their seats.

Kean had positioned himself as a Lincoln Chafee like moderate (against Arctic Refuge drilling, for actional on global warming and protecting open space). But this is a solid blue state that hs not had a Republican U.S. Senator in a very long time. Menendez sits on the Environment and Public Works Committee where he can do some good over the next six years. Based on his record so far we have every reason to be optimistic that he will. - Adam Kolton
